The Story of Antonio’s Pasta & Ravioli

In 1974, brothers-in-law Antonio and Mario opened Antonio’s Pasta & Ravioli with the goal of sharing delicious homemade pasta with others. Using generations-old family recipes, they brought that “Sunday dinner” feeling to the everyday. As Antonio’s grew, our family began working side-by-side with Antonio and Mario. Here, their family recipes became our family recipes, and in 1982, they entrusted our family with continuing on their legacy.

For years, my parents, Barbara and Richard, my siblings, Michele and Richard Jr., and I worked tirelessly to keep our promise to Antonio and Mario. By using only the highest quality ingredients, we continue to provide the public with the homemade ravioli, manicotti and stuffed shells they know and love. We also expanded Antonio’s into what it is today, in terms of both offerings as well as our reach. In addition to the classics, we offer almost twenty different flavored ravioli and fresh semolina pasta. Antonio’s is now available in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania in restaurants, pizzerias, Italian markets and more. We even created a retail side of Antonio’s, allowing the public to purchase directly from us.

In the 40 years our family has been in the pasta business, there have been many changes, but one thing remains the same: family has always been at the core of Antonio’s. After my parents’ retirement, I took on the lead role, and while my siblings were called to different life paths, they have never been far away. Whether during busy holiday seasons or life’s more challenging moments, I know I can count on them. There is something special about being part of a family business that goes beyond blood relatives. Our team, customers, and vendors are our family and I am so thankful to be part of Antonio’s.

As we enter our 41st year in business, I am excited to have my youngest daughter, Jennalyn, join Antonio's. There is no doubt the past few years have been challenging, but with a new generation at Antonio’s, we are confident we will continue to grow. I am proud to look back on our past, and we look forward with anticipation towards our future. Here’s to seeing where the next 40 years will take us!
